Christmas - for most - can be a very expensive time of year as we seek to celebrate the holiday period and give gifts to those we care about. Here at KCB we see a rise in loan applications in the run up to Christmas. We're keen to help our Members to manage seasonal expenditure, and so as well as continuing to offer loans, we'd like to encourage our Members to save during the year.
We offer a special Christmas Savings account, allowing you put aside money during the year, and then access it later in the year.
To help encourage Members to save with our Christmas Savings account, between March 2023 and December 2023, we'll deposit £10.00 to a randomly selected Member's account each month*.
If you're already a Member, simply contact us and ask us to open a Christmas Savings account for you, tell us how much you wish to transfer/deposit and you're done! If you're not yet a Member, please join here and once your account is open, you can ask us to open a Christmas Savings account for you.
* We will choose the Member from those active Member accounts who have deposited money into their Christmas Savings account that month. The £10.00 will be transferred to their Christmas Savings account and be subjec to the terms and conditions of that account. Members currently in default on their loans or who have breached any other terms or conditions shall not be eligible. Savings in a Christmas Savings Account cannot be accessed between January and September.
